From most points on Whidbey Island you can enjoy majestic views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains as well as an amazing saltwater view.  This area has all the charm of the country, yet all the facilities of the city.  The city of Langley is a thriving arts community, Oak Harbor is the home to the U S Naval Air Station and Coupeville features well preserved Victorian mansions built by wealthy sea captains who took advantage of the abundance of oak and pine trees to make their fortunes in the timber trade.
