Silverdale is on the Kitsap Peninsula, situated ten miles northwest of the city of Bremerton and nine miles south of Poulsbo. It lies at the north tip of Dyes Inlet, which connects it to Bremerton via Sinclair Inlet and the Pacific Ocean via Puget Sound. It enjoys a relatively moderate climate due to its proximity to Puget Sound. The Olympic Mountain Range provides a buffer from the stronger weather systems coming off the Pacific Ocean. In Old Town Silverdale, a friendly community on the waterfront, you'll discover plenty of quaint shops, galleries and casual cafes with panoramic waterfront views. The waterfront park has a gazebo, playground for kids, public boat ramp, moorage, picnic spots, restaurants and a beach walkway. Silverdale is also one of the county's fastest-growing population centers.
