San Juan Island is accessible by boat, plane or the Washington State Ferry.  With it's own relaxed pace of life, a culture of rugged outdoor fun, and a strong connection to nature, it is an astonishing, beautiful, tranquil place... On the north end of the island is Roche Harbor Village with an airstrip, marina, lodging, grocery store, restaurants, park, shopping and many water activities. On the east side is Friday Harbo, a quaint seaport with a ferry landing, public marina and parks, restaurants, shops, galleries and lodging facilities.
