The Olympic Peninsula, and Port Townsend in particular, is a great area for all types of fishing. Salmon is a popular catch, and the rivers hold Dolly Varden. Just the thought of drifting in your boat, waves gently rocking you, smelling the fresh air, a hook and line dangling from the side, dreaming about your favorite things....Ahhh....what a life...
You can fish off most of the public docks in Port Townsend, Fort Worden Marine Science Center dock, Union Wharf and Port Hudson Jetty. All types of licenses are available in town at Swain's General Store.
