Port Angeles, located in the Olympic Peninsula, has amazing scenic waterfront views.  Locals love to kayak, bike, hike, take a day trip to Hurricane Ridge or explore all of the Olympic Peninsula National Park. Other fun things are a day trip to Victoria, B.C., a trip to the Pacific beaches or a trip to the lavender fields of neighboring Sequim.
